Yes, the threat of radical Islam is very serious. Heaven forbid, there is a dirty bomb detonated in New Yor, or Washington or in London or another big city, then both sides of the political chasm that has opened up with George Bush and the war, will feel vindicated.
The Right will say, look we've been warning you for years and you've been in denial and accusing us of hysteria. Now you see there is a real threat and our police and intelligence agencies were not up to the mark.
The Left, on the other hand, will continue to claim that the Right caused this bombing with their war on terror and their unjust fear of Musulims and that the bombing however terrible will be justified.
The threat to the USA from radical Islam is very serious.

No matter what, the left will never blame those who attack the US.
Either way they can't say the WOT caused it, so far there hasn't be an attack on US soil since the WOT. However under Democrats, when appeasement and throwing bombs from afar was the go, the US was attacked on so many fronts.
