Hillary's in trouble, and Bill Clinton admits it.
IT'S NOT often in this security-obsessed era that a former president climbs onto the back of a pick-up in main street to deliver a stump speech. But when Bill Clinton arrived on Wednesday in Victoria, southern Texas, to find the art deco theatre packed and nearly 1000 people queuing outside, he ordered his staff to move the sound system into the street - which really was called Main Street. Perhaps it is a sign of desperation within the Clinton camp that the usual caution was thrown to the wind.

Bubba's gotten bored of campaigning for a woman he doesn't really like? He gave it his best shot, right? It ain't his fault she screeches like worn-out brakes and poses and rotates on stage like a bobble-head . If I were in his In shoes I'd declare the thing lost, and head quietly for nearest, strip joint.

They'll probably let you in, even in your own shoes.
